Design is great looking on kitchen fixture cyber monday 2013

My family recently did a complete kitchen gut renovation and although the contractor purchased all the appliances directly, not through Amazon, we want to share our thoughts now that we have lived with them for almost 6 months. See our other reviews for the other products. BACKGROUND With an apartment kitchen we had limited space and could only do low-20's in width, so we wanted to make it up in depth. Our architect wanted us to go with Blanco or Elkay, but we just could not bear to pay that kind of money for a sink. THE GOOD - Design is great looking. They did a good copy! - The corners are just rounded enough that they are simple to clean. - After 6 months it looks to be holding up well. No scratches. - The plumber said that it looked to him to be exactly like a Blanco and just as good in quality. He was surprised. THE BAD - The sink 'pops' occasionally if we pour a lot of hot water into it (eg a pot of pasta water). This presumable would not happen in an Elko/Blanco of the same size. However, to be fair, I have not tested the exact same size Elko/Blanco sinks, only their larger ones which do not in fact pop. - The handle on the strainer bale come out occasionally, which is inconvenient to say the least. - The bottom grid has a bit too much give to it and can sometime cause things to fall over. - There is no place that we could find to see this sink in advance of buying it, except on the internet.
