I have the most obnoxious hair. It's thick, dark, strong, and grows extremely fast. I probably have to shave about every other day, everywhere. It's not such a big deal in winter, but come summer I want hair gone. I've used various gel removers and on a whim decided to try Veet. I tried it on my chest, underarms, bikini, and legs. My chest hair is the thickest, stubbornest, and fastest growing hair on all of my body. Veet was only able to take off a few hairs even after the max time of 10 minutes. So, it's useless on my chest. My underarms couldn't handle it. It burned and was pretty painful for a few days even though I was careful to not shave 72 hours before I used Veet. It was probably on my underarms for about 3 minutes. I'll never use the Veet on my underarms again because it was too much of an irritant. Bikini was a total win. I put it on for the max time (10 mins) and there was no pain and the result was super baby butt smooth. Loved it! However, my stubborn hair started growing back after 3 days...better than shaving, but still! I expected longer results. I still prefer it to shaving down there because of razor bumps, so I will definitely continue to use Veet on my bikini area! Veet worked wonders on my leg hair; the most fine of my body hair. I only left the cream on for about 5 minutes and my legs were super smooth! Hair didn't grow back for about 4 days. Not bad! So overall, Veet is a total hit or miss on my body. It gets my desired results for some parts, but is total useless or total pain for other parts. For now I'll keep it, but not sure if it's worth buying more when I run out. Getting rid of my bikini line hair has essentially always been a battle for me. When I shave the area with a razor, I get cuts and/or razor burn, no matter what kind of razor I use. A couple years ago, I tried Nair to see if that would work better, and I was disappointed to find that not only was the smell absolutely noxious, but the product burned on my skin and didn't really remove any hairs. On a whim, I recently decided to try out Veet because I was so tired of the constant struggle to remove the hair. I was extremely skeptical of the product, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out. I had to leave it on for 10 minutes (the maximum time), but when I pulled the bladeless razor across my skin, all of the hair came off instantly! You have to rinse the bladeless razor after every stroke because the hair/cream will clump up on it, but that's not too much of a hassle for me. Also, no burning sensation! I am extremely impressed with this product and will likely purchase it again in the future. I read some of the one star reviews below, and Im not sure,but maybe the formula has improved or something... because this product worked great for me! I actually bought this at CVS (ugh since summer is coming and I needed to shave...(does not look forward to it..)I was looking for one of those 10-20 dollar razors,but the one I wanted based on amazing reviews was not in stock so I ended up purchasing this instead to try. I must say, I'm glad I bought this before I read some of these other reviews... On with my review! Do you dislike shaving?Waxing? Or any other time consuming hair removal product?? Are you lazy? After having been told my danglies looked like an elderly Rastafarian I decided to take the plunge and buy some of this as previous shaving attempts had only been mildly successful and I nearly put my back out trying to reach the more difficult bits. Being a bit of a romantic I thought I would do the deed on the missus's birthday as a bit if a treat. I ordered it well in advance and working in the North Sea I considered myself a bit above some of the characters writing the previous reviews and wrote them off as soft office types...Oh my fellow sufferers how wrong I was. I waited until the other half was tucked up in bed and after giving some vague hints about a special surprise I went down to the bathroom. Initially all went well and I applied the gel and stood waiting for something to happen. I didn't have long to wait. At first there was a gentle warmth which in a matter of seconds was replaced by an intense burning and a feeling I can only describe as like being given a barbed wire wedgie by two people intent on hitting the ceiling with my head. Religion hadn't featured much in my life until that night but I suddenly became willing to convert to any religion to stop the violent burning around the turd tunnel and what seemed like the the destruction of the meat and two veg. Struggling not to bite through my bottom lip I tried to wash the gel off in the sink and only succeeded in blocking the plughole with a mat of hair. Through the haze of tears I struggled out of the bathroom across the hall into the kitchen, by this time walking was not really possible and I crawled the final yard to the fridge in the hope of some form of cold relief. I yanked the freezer drawer out and found a tub of ice cream, toe the lid off and positioned it under me. The relief was fantastic but only temporary as it melted fairly quickly and the fiery stabbing returned. Due to the shape of the ice cream tub I hadn't managed to give the starfish any treatment and I groped around in the draw for something else as I was sure my vision was going to fail fairly soon. I grabbed a bag of what I later found out was frozen sprouts and tore it open trying to be quiet as I did so. I took a handful of them and an tried in vain to clench some between the cheeks of my arse. I bought this because my car for car electronic cyber monday 2013

I received the radio yesterday afternoon, while I was busy with another project. I still had time to look at it, and was able to see that I could mount it using the hardware from the original radio. It has a wiring harness and directions for hookup. I wrote down the connections I would make from the new harness, to the wires of the old. The antenna connection was made using the existing fitting. I used a radio shack automatic wire stripper to strip the wires from the old harness, one at a time as needed. (about $25 dollars, but I had it on hand). I used professional automotive style crimpers from Home Depot to put on barrel connectors to the new wires, and then hooked them up one at a time to the old wires. I highly recommend using the strippers and good crimpers to get a professional job. They will come in handy more than you think. I plugged in the harness and checked for normal operation after putting on the power wires and the front speakers. It was fine, so I finished all the speakers wires. You have to take your time on them and get them right. The radio is 7 inches by 2 inches, the same as the jeep radio was. I used the manual for the set up, and it plays loud and clear. I all ready have some favorite FM and AM stations entered in. I found this unit to be just what I wanted at a great price. The install was fairly simple -- the challenge came from taking the old unit out, but I found the solution by looking online. I had to take my whole console apart, but this was as simple as following instructions. The new unit was fairly easy to install, the only hiccup came in matching the wires in the back, which I did by matching the colors, twisting, and wrapping in electric tape. The whole install took about 1.5 hours start to finish, but I am also fairly comfortable with electronics. The key was to know where to look for the instructions, follow them, and be gentle and patient. It may be helpful to research what tutorials are available online to help with the install prior to purchase. I found there was a lot out there. I bought this because my car, 2002 Suburu Outback, had an aftermarket CD player in it. This old system did not allow me to use my Iphone to listen to music because it did not have an AUX IN jack. I have tried FM transmitters and have always been disappointed, plus my most recent one became obsolete once Apple put the new lightning plug in. This unit was close in price to what I would have paid for a new FM transmitter, but the audio quality and ease of use is far superior. I bought 12in subs for my ford escort 2001 then found out you need a deck so I bought this at AutoZone (way more expensive like 65$) and it was easy to install sounds great. The only defect is its a little annoying at night but you get used to it. I love the carger feature because my car lighter dose not work so this was perfect and take advantage of the price in here! The installation cartridge wouldn't fit into the easy install kit, so its secure, but kind of wobbles out maybe a few centimeters over the course of a week or so. That part was frustrating, but its just an aesthetic thing which doesn't actually bother me at all. Most important thing is that it works. I don't even use the cd-player so I can't comment on that, but the aux input is great! Honesty you cannot beat this for the price. Oh in case you're wondering if it will play dvd-rw's with burned mp3's on it, it will not...haha, probably obvious but those are the only type of blank discs I have, and yea, didn't work, don't waste a disc or your time. Also I've seen a lot of people say the display is too bright. There is a dimmer. It's like a 4 page instruction manual. Come on people, you are literate right? love it, fit my car perfect. sounds good.I did buy the wire harness at best buy though to make it easier.. very easy to install. fast free shipping. Bought this to replace the factory radio in my Honda Civic 2000. It's great for what I need. The radio can be a bit fuzzy, but I don't really listen to it anyway. Just installed this into my 1994 buick lesabre custom. It wasn't exactly what I wanted for a radio but I also didn't want to spend $100 for one. When first installed it took a bit getting used to (considering the original had a tuning knob and a tape player). I like the fact that I can charge my iphone and no longer have to carry a bulky car charger. Also auxiliary input for the iphone works extremely well, it sounds so much better than any mp3 radio fm transmitter works. Also for the people complaining about it, for 50 bucks your not going to get a high end stereo but for me comparing it to the original 1994 stereo with a tape player it worked fabulous. After reading about how it wasn't dimmable, I thought , oh well no deal breaker. But after installing and reading the manual, I found it has a whole other set of menu options that INCLUDES A DIMMABLE DISPLAY SETTING for the display as well as a loud setting that really brings out the sound. All in all, an amazing deal on a detatchable face cd with all these features. Sounds great in our class c RV. Would definately buy again This purchase was a gift for Christmas, as my daughter is driving an older model vehicle for going on nearly a year which has its original radio that was only AM/FM. While she's kept up with technology personally, we bought this so she could take that with her and this fit in the car beautifully and without much extra necessary accessories. The sound quality is good and she loves it that she can plug up her iPod and carry her own tunes or is able to play a CD while traveling for her job. Despite the complaints some other people have left, I thought I would give this stereo a try. It is a pretty good product. It was easy to install; I'm not a pro, but I knew what I was doing. For those of you who may not there are instructions that help. Everything you need is inside the box. The remote works, the USB charger works (NOTE: it does NOT play audio files via the USB, only charge), and the AUX line is great for when there is nothing good on the radio. My only complaint would be that the LCD display is bright, especially at night. This could be remedied by adding some sort of tint to the display. The menu is a bit tricky in monitors cyber monday 2013

The Asus VS247H-P 23.6 inch Led monitor is a great monitor. I was searching for a monitor to be an external display for my mid 2010 macbook pro 15 inch and ended up buying this one. I thought 23.3 inches would be to small, but its plenty big for my use. I'm not a professional photographer or graphic design specialist so I can't really comment on the nitty-gritty, but for occasional games, iphoto editing, movies, web, and home/office use this monitor is excellent. I connected my macbook to the display via mini display port to HDMI with audio (one cord) and the monitor was displaying in beautiful 1080p with sound coming from my desktop speakers (you have to set the audio output in the system preferences to HDMI). The colors are great, black is black and white is bright white, really bright white. I did have to do some tweaking with the settings via the menu on the monitor and color sync in OS X to calm it down a bit, took about 3 minutes, but it looks fabulous and its nice to know I have room to adjust if I need to. There are no speakers in this monitor so you have to use headphones or desktop speakers, but there is volume settings in the menu, which is kind of a pain in the butt, as there is no independent physical volume up/down button. You have to scroll through the menu till you get to the volume settings. I just max out the monitor volume and adjust the sound from my desktop speaker controller. The menu is a bit tricky to get through at first, but after a few times I was able to move through it pretty quickly. The monitor has a glossy half-inch or so border around it, which I'm not a huge fan of as it gets mucked up with finger prints, but when its clean it looks nice.
